FACTS
Vide RTI dated 11.4.11, appellant had sought information regarding career advancement of Information Scientists.
2. PIO, Dr Shakeel Ahmed, vide letter dated 29.4.11, provided a point wise response to the appellant. Further information was provided by PIO Shri Satish Ahuja, vide letter dated 16.5.11.
3. An appeal was filed on 5.5.11.
4. AA, Dr Renu Batra, vide order dated 3.6.11, upheld the decision of the PIO, observing that the PIO is neither supposed to create information nor is he required to give his opinion, comments or interpretation and the appeal was disposed of.
5. Not satisfied with the response, he filed the present appeal.
6. The appellant submitted that there was a contradiction in the response provided to his query no.1 vide PIO's letter dt 29.4.11 and a subsequent communication from the UGC.
DECISION
7. PIO JCRC Shri V.T.Gopinathan is directed to provide a response to the appellant within ten days from the date of receipt of the order. The appeal is disposed of.
