Section 39(d) in Police Regulations, Calcutta, 1968
(d)he shall draw up an accurate report in minute details of all the relevant facts, with a note of the number of rounds issued and expended, and he shall send one copy of his report to the Divisional Deputy Commissioner and one copy to the Deputy Commissioner, Headquarters.
