Section 9(1) in The Calcutta Metropolitan Water And Sanitation Authority Act, 1966
(1)The Authority shall, subject to the provisions made elsewhere in this Act have the power to do anything which may be necessary or expedient for the purpose of carrying out its functions under this Act.
