(1)This Act may be called the Kerala Money-lenders Act, 1958.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala.(3)It shall come into force in any area on such date as the Government may specify by notification, the date being not earlier than one month from the date of the notification and the Government may cancel or modify such notification.
