(1)The jurisdiction of the University shall extend to the entire territory of the State of Manipur.(2)Where any institution or body outside the State of Manipur seeks recognition or affiliation from the University or where the University establishes and maintains any institutions or body outside the State of Manipur, then the powers and jurisdiction of the University shall extend to such institution or body subject to-(i)the laws in force in the State within which, and(ii)the rules and regulations of the University, if any, within whose jurisdiction, the said institution or body is situated.
