Section 12(1) in The Gujarat Forensic Sciences University Act, 2008
(1)The Board of Governors of the University shall consist of the following members, namely;-(i)the Director General, who shall be the Chairman of the Board;(ii)the Director of Research and Development;(iii)one Director of the University, by rotation, to be nominated by the Director General;(iv)one Police Officer, not below the rank of Additional Director General of Police, to be nominated by the State Government;(v)the Registrar General of the High Court of Gujarat;(vi)an officer of the Home Department, not below the rank of the Secretary to Government, to be nominated by the State Government;(vii)an officer of the Education Department, not below the rank of the Secretary to Government, to be nominated by the State Government;(viii)three academicians or professionals in the field of forensic science, to be nominated by the State Government.
