Section 23(3) in The Company Secretaries Act, 1980
(3)Notwithstanding anything contained in this section, each Regional Council of the dissolved company shall, on the commencement of this Act, become the Regional Council of the Institute for the area for which it was functioning as a Regional Council immediately before such commencement and shall function as such—(i)for a period of two years from such commencement, or(ii)till a Regional Council is constituted for such area in accordance with the provisions of this section,whichever is earlier.
