81. Power to relax qualifications.
(1)The Director of Education, may, in case of non-availability of trained or qualified teachers in particular subjects, relax the minimum qualifications prescribed for such period as the Director may think fit provided that no such appointments shall be made, except with the previous relaxation of the Director of Education.(2)The minimum qualifications may also be relaxed by the Director of Education in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, provided that such relaxation shall be made in accordance with the orders on the subject made by the Central Government from time to time.
