Section 26 in The Assam Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1960
26. Smoking prohibited.
(a)No person shall smoke and no holder of a cinema licence or his agent or manager shall permit smoking in the auditorium(b)The number of persons admitted at any time into any part of the place licensed shall not exceed such number as may be specified in the licence. No person shall be permitted to remain in any of the intersecting gangways.In order to ensure that the maximum number is not exceeded, and more particularly to facilitate checking at any time, the licensee shall issue tickets bearing serial numbers and the date and the number of the performance on the foils and counterfoils. After each performance the ticket books shall be market 'closed' on the last counterfoil issued.
