52. Repeal and savings.
(1)On and from the commencement of these regulations, the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Manner of Increasing and Maintaining Public Shareholding in Recognized Stock Exchanges) Regulations, 2006, shall stand repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken or purported to have been taken or contemplated under the repealed regulations before the commencement of these regulations shall be deemed to have been done or taken or commenced or contemplated under the corresponding provisions of these regulations.(3)After the repeal of the regulations referred to in sub-regulation (1), any reference thereto in any regulation, guideline, circular or direction issued by the Board shall be deemed to be a reference to the relevant provisions of these regulations.
