Section 35(1)(b) in The Standards Of Weights And Measures Act, 1976

(b)repairs any weight or measure, to which this Part applies, shall maintain such records and registers as may be prescribed and if required so to do by the Director, shall produce such records and registers before the Director or such other officer as the Director may authorise in this behalf, for inspection.
