Section 187(1) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(1)No person shall hawk or sell or expose for sale any article in any public street or public place, except under and in accordance with a licence granted under the bye-laws made by the Council in this behalf.
