Section 31 in The Orissa Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1958
31. Penalty for fraudulent use of weights or measures, etc.
- Whoever fraudulently uses any standard weight or measure or weighing or measuring instrument which he knows to be false shall be punishable with imprisonment for a period which may extend to one month or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or with both.
