Section 8(1) in Madura Sugars Limited (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertaking) Act, 1984
(1)Every liability of the Company in respect of any period prior to the appointed day, shall be the liability of that Company and shall be enforceable against it, and not against the Government or where the undertaking vests in an existing, or a new, Government company, against such Government company.
