Section 12 in Tamil Nadu General Clauses Act, 1891
12. Application of Chapter III to all Acts.
- This Chapter shall apply to all [Tamil Nadu Acts] [Substituted for the expression 'Madras Acts' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] unless a contrary intention appears in any such Act, but it shall not affect anything done or commenced prior to the commencement of this Act under any enactment now in force.
