Learned counsel for the respondent Mr. Sourabh Goyal as well as the counsel for the State Mr. H.S. Sullar jointly stated that the appellant Sadeeqan wife of Safroodin died on 7.12.2016. Learned State counsel has filed custody certificate which is taken on record. It shows that the appellant died on 7.12.2016 at Civil Hospital, Amritsar. Mr. Sourabh Goyal, Senior Standing counsel has brought on record the post mortem report of the appellant along with the certificate issued by the Jail Authority, Amritsar. Copies thereof are taken on record and marked X for identification.
