PROF. A.S.R. NAIK (MAHABUBABAD): Hon. Deputy Speaker Sir, this august House is well aware that the two children namely Malavath Purna and Anand Kumar from the Telangana State created history by scaling the Mount Everest on 25th May 2014. This House unanimously congratulated the children. The hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and our hon. Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrasekhar Rao also congratulated the children. A Bollywood director has also made a movie based on the life of Malavath Purna. She is from Lambadi tribe. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao is the slogan of the Government of India. So, I would request the Government to appoint Malavath Purna as the brand ambassador of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao programme.
