ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhitha, 2023, seeking quashment of the proceedings against the petitioners-accused Nos.4 and 5 in Crime No.286 of 2024 on the file of Paloncha Police Station, Bhadradri-Kothagudem District.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.M.Vivekananda Reddy, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent No.1-State.
3. The petitioners are arrayed as accused Nos.4 and 5 in Crime No.286 of 2024 for the offences under Sections 418, 420, 294-B, 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code and Section 175(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhitha.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent No.1 would submits that during pendency of this petition, in Crime 2 No.286 of 2024 has been closed by the investigating agency by the endorsing the matter as "civil in nature", hence, the contested cause does not subsist for adjudication.
5. Having regard to the submission and the crime has been closed, nothing further remains in this matter for deliberation.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
