Section 13D(1) in Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976
(1)Each area shall have an area sabha representative who shall be nominated by the Corporation on the recommendation of the councilor of the particular ward:Provided that, if no recommendation is received within ninety days from the date of constitution or reconstitution of the Corporation, the Commissioner shall recommend names to the Corporation for nomination.
