Section 26(1) in The Jharkhand State Agricultural University Act, 2000
(1)Agricultural Research Programme shall be developed in a University from time to time and subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, a University shall carry on research directed to problems of agriculture and allied sciences for the purpose of aiding the development of the area of its jurisdiction in the State.
