Section 2(c) in Khasi Hills Autonomous District (Appointment and Succession of Syiem, Deputy Syiem, Electors and Rangbah Shnong of Mylliem Syiemship) Act, 2007
(c)"Deputy Syiem" or "Syiem Khynnah" means a Khasi male adult belonging to any of the "Lai Kpoh" of the Syiem clan of Mylliem Syiemship and duly appointed under the provisions of this Act.
