JUSTICE VEERENDR SINGH SIRADHANA Order 25/07/2017 After arguing the matter for some length, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, for the present, the petitioners would be satisfied if the State-respondents are directed to decide the representation of the petitioners within a time frame, which they are ready and willing to address within two weeks hereinafter.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that similarly engaged persons have already allowed enhancement of 10% salary as per the Scheme in other Panchayat Samiti in the same District.
In view of the limited prayer addressed; the instant writ proceedings are closed with a direction to the petitioners to address a comprehensive representation to the respondents ventilating their grievances.
In case, a representation is so addressed within the period aforesaid, the State-respondents are directed to consider and decide the same by a reasoned and speaking order in the backdrop of communication dated 10th November, 2008, which contemplates enhancement of the wages/salary of the employees engaged under the Scheme on contract basis subject to their performance, as expeditiously as possible; however, in no case later than two months from the date of receipt of the representation along with a certified copy of this order.
