The complainant has sought information related to final settlement of claims in respect of PF A/c No. KN/25075/21172.

The CPIO has not provided the desired information.
Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing: The following were present Complainant: Absent Respondent: Mr. K Aravindan CPIO through VC The applicant was given an opportunity to participate in the hearing but he is absent. The CPIO stated that the applicant's RTI application dated 14/06/2013 was replied vide letter dated 15/07/2013 intimating him that EPF account number and name do not tally. He was requested to provide correct EPF account number and submit claim form complete in all respect. He further submitted that after much correspondence the applicant's correct PF account number was obtained from the employer and his claim was settled on 20/03/2014.Page 1 of 2
Decision notice:
The CPIO has submitted that the applicant's RTI application was replied vide letter dated 15/07/2013 and his PF claim has been settled on 20/03/2014. In the above circumstances no further action is warranted.
The matter is closed.
