Section 20(1) in The Inland Waterways Authority Of India Rules, 1986
(1)The presiding officer of a meeting may adjourn it to a later date, which date shall be announced at the meeting and where an announcement to that effect is not made, the presiding officer shall given seven clear days; notice to all the members.
