Section 14(5) in Vinayaka Missions Sikkim University Act, 2008
(5)The Pro-Chancellor (Academic) shall have following powers, namely :-(a)to call for any information related to the entire Academic including research proceedings of the University ;(b)such other powers as may be conferred on him by this Act or the Statutes made thereunder.
