Section 18 in Assam Land (Requisition and Acquisition) Rules, 1964
18. Government demand to be deducted from the compensation payable to the owner.
- From the amount realised under clause (i) of Rules 13 and 17 the arrears of land revenue and local raste, if any, shall be deducted and balance paid to the owner.
