Petitioner is seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to include his name in the list of the candidates called for scrutiny of the documents for the post of Conductor, State Transport Department, vide Annexure P-5.
On 14.09.2018, this Court passed the following order:-
"The petitioner is participating in the selection process for the post of Conductor in State Transport Department, Haryana, under General Category, pursuant to advertisement No.4/2017 (Annexure P-1). He has cleared the written examination with 79 marks as per answer key uploaded. The OMR sheet has been annexed as Annexure P-4. However, he has not been called for scrutiny of documents. On the other hand, some candidates in General Category having lower marks than the petition have been called. Notice of motion for 11.03.2019.

Copy of this order be given to learned counsel for the petitioner under the signatures of the Court Secretary/Reader of this Bench."
Learned State counsel has produced the result of the petitioner in a sealed cover, which has been opened by the Reader of this Court. The final result has been declared on 02.12.2018 As per result, the petitioner has secured 150 marks in written examination and 10 marks in viva voice (total 160 marks) and and the last candidate has secured 171 marks in general category and the cut off the candidate in the waiting list is 170 marks.
In view of the above factual position, the writ petition stands dismissed, as the petitioner has secured less marks than the last candidate.
The result has been returned back in original to learned State counsel in the Court today.
