Section 61(4) in The Rajasthan Municipalities Accounts Rules, 1963
(4)The last payment of pay or allowances shall not be paid to any person finally quitting service of the Board by retirement, resignation, dismissal, death or otherwise or placed under suspension until the disbursing officer has satisfied himself by reference to the records that there are no demands outstanding against him.Date of PayeePay and allowance can be drawn for the day of the man's death; the hour at which death takes place has no effect on the claim.Note. - "Day" for the purpose of this rules means a calendar day beginning and ending at midnight.
