Section 20(2) in The Goa, Daman and Diu School Education Rules, 1986
(2)The unaided recognised schools may specify their own timings, but in any case the total number of school hours per day and total number of working days in a year shall not be less than prescribed at (1) above:Provided that in addition to the prescribed working hours a teacher may be required to devote not more than 200 hours in a year for remedial teaching, supervised studies, etc.
