01. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
Heard Mr. D.K. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. D. Mohapatra, learned Standing Counsel, School and Mass Education Department for opposite parties.
It is submitted by Mr. D.K. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are aggrieved by non- sanction of certain service benefits to them, which according to the petitioners, they are entitled to. It is further submitted that the petitioners wish to make representation(s) before the authority for redressal of their grievances regarding entitlement.
It is submitted by Mr. D. Mohapatra, learned Standing Counsel, that any representation that would be made by the petitioners, shall be considered by the authority in accordance with law and disposed of in due time.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of grievance raised in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission, with // 2 // the following order:-
The petitioners, if so advised, shall move the appropriate authority by making individual representation(s) afresh, enclosing copies of the earlier representation(s), if any, and any documents sought to be relied upon by the petitioners. The authority on receipt of such representation(s), shall do well to dispose of the representation(s) of the petitioners in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of communication of certified copy of the order along with copy of representation(s) and other documents.
The order that would be passed by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioners within two weeks.
The petitioners shall have the liberty to take appropriate follow-up action, as would be available under law, pursuant to the order that would be passed by the authority.
However, it is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case, in any manner whatsoever.
