Section 179(2) in The Border Security Force Rules, 1969
(2)If the Commandant is below the rank of a Deputy Commandant, he may award punishment specified,-(a)in clauses (a) and (b) of section 53 upto fourteen days.(b)in other clauses of section 53 to the full extent.
