Section 10(1) in First Statutes of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad
(1)The Governing Council shall constitute Standing Committee consisting of the following members, namely:-(a)the Director, who shall be the Chairman of the Standing Committee;(b)Activity Chairperson (Education);(c)two members of the Governing Council nominated by the Chairperson of the Governing Council; and(d)the Registrar, who shall be, Member Secretary of the Standing Committee.
