Section 198(1) in The Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
(1)Every person in possession of moneys, accounts, records or other property pertaining to the Zila Parishad or to the Panchayat Samiti within the area of the Zila Parishad shall on requisition in writing of the Chief Executive Officer for this purpose, forthwith hand over such moneys or deliver such accounts, records or other property to the Chief Executive Officer or the person authorised in the requisition to receive the same.
