219. Inspection and maintenance of pile-driving equipment.
- The employer shall ensure at construction site of a building or other construction work that-(a)Pile-driving equipment is not taken into use until it has been inspected by a responsible person and found to be safe for such use;(b)Pile-driving equipment in use is inspected by a responsible person for such inspection at suitable intervals to ensure safety to the building worker working on such equipment;(c)All pile lines and pulley blocks are inspected by a responsible person before the beginning of each shift of piling operations.
