Learned senior counsel for the petitioner contends that it was not open to the respondents to examine the issue of his birth after having inducted him into the service and after having allowed him to continue in service for a number of years.
Secondly, it is the contention of the learned senior counsel for the petitioner that even though the petitioner had submitted a certificate issued by Vidya Prakash High School, Gurdaspur, the respondents placed reliance on a certificate issued by Milne Memorial High School, Dhariwal.
