By Court  Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The writ petitioner, an employee of the Border Security Force,  who was appointed as back as on 23rd February,1988 suffered  injuries in the bomb blast in an attack by the militants and he  lost his right eye. He continued in service and he was sent to  the   training   also   which   he   completed   successfully   and  thereafter   he   is   sought   to   be   retired   by   order   dated   29th  December, 2004, informing him to retire w.e.f. 31st December,  2004.

3. After   going   through   the   reasons   given   in   the   impugned  judgment   dated   29th  July,   2011,   we   are   of   the   considered  opinion that the learned Single Judge has carefully considered  all aspects of the matter and rightly held that the order asking  the petitioner to retire from 31st December, 2004 is absolutely  illegal.

4.  In view of the above reasons, we do not find any merit in the  Letters Patent Appeal. The Letters Patent Appeal is dismissed.
