                                           ORAL ORDER

1. It appears that the present appeal was filed by the State Government in the year 1995 challenging the judgment and decree dated 21.10.1994 passed by the Assistant District Judge in Regular Civil Appeal No. 25 of 1993.

2. It appears that the Court had issued notice to the respondent on 09.12.2015, which had returned unserved with the endorsement that the sole respondent had expired. It appears from the order dated 20.01.2016 that the concerned learned AGP had sought time to get the information about the deceased respondent. However, till this date, no action or steps appear to have been Page 1 of 2 HC-NIC Page 1 of 2 Created On Wed Feb 07 23:27:26 IST 2018 C/SA/73/1995 ORDER taken by the appellant for bringing on record the legal heirs of the deceased respondent.

3. In view of the above, the present appeal is dismissed as having abated and for want of prosecution. Notice is discharged.
