Section 35(2)(a) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014

(a)a child found to be living with his family in conditions of extreme deprivation where the income of such family does not exceed Rs. 2150 per month may be supported through individual sponsorship in order to prevent them from destitution or as a measure of juvenile crime prevention.
