Section 11 in The U.P. Debt Relief Act, 1977

11. Release from detention.

(1)Every small farmer undergoing detention in a civil prison in execution of any decree or order in respect of a debt shall be released.
(2)No small farmer shall in any case be liable to arrest or detention in civil prison in execution of any such decree for a period of one year from the commencement of this Act.
