Section 2(26) in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(26)"dangerous disease" means -(a)cholera, plague, small-pox, cerebrospinal meningitis, diphtheria, tuberculosis, leprosy, influenza, encephalitis, poliomyelitis and syphilis; and(b)any other epidemic, endemic, or infectious disease which the State Government may, by notification, declare to be a dangerous disease for the purposes of this Act;
