Section 14(2)(i) in The Bihar Home Guards Rules, 1953

(i)During the period of training every Home Guard shall receive free boarding and lodging besides a training allowance of Rs. 30 a month. In the absence of provision for free boarding, he shall receive a ration allowance at the rate of Rs. 40 per month.
