Section 14(3) in The Bengal Agricultural Debtors Act, 1936

(3)No document relating to a debt regarding which a creditor has failed to submit a statement under sub-section (2) of section 11 or sub-section (1) of section 13, and no document which being in the possession or under the control of the creditor has not been produced by him as required by sub-section (1) [of section 13] [Words and figures inserted by Bengal Act 8 of 1940.], shall be admissible in evidence against the debtor or his successor in interest in any suit by the creditor or by any person claiming under him for the recovery of the debt to which such document relates unless it is proved to the satisfaction of the Civil Court that there were sufficient reasons for non-production of the document before the Board.
