- If, in the opinion of the Government, it is necessary for the preservation of a forest, or forests they may, by notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.(i)prohibit or regulate the doing of any act likely to be detrimental to the preservation of such forest or forests;(ii)regulate the exercise of customary or prescriptive rights in such forest or forests.
