(1)The following facilities shall be provided in workshed and other places where prisoners work:(i)Protection from heat, cold, rain, dust, smoke, fumes, gases and chemicals;(ii)Protection from seepage and dampness;(iii)Safe drinking water;(iv)Spittoons, urinals and latrines;(v)Washing and bathing facilities;(vi)First-aid facilities;(vii)Fire extinguisher and other fire fighting equipments;(viii)Sufficient ventilation and lighting;(ix)Safety equipment and accident prevention measures.
