(4)The Factory Manager shall enter the Jail manufactory sufficiently early each morning to superintend the distribution of the labour gangs, and he shall ordinarily remain inside the Jail throughout the day.Note-1. - Quarters shall be provided for the Factory Manager at the Jail in which he shall reside. He shall not absent himself from his duties without the permission of the Superintendent unless he is sick, in which case he shall furnish a certificate of sickness from the Medical Officer. He may absent himself for meals and other purposes at such hours and for such periods as the Superintendent may fix.Note-2. - Unless otherwise provided by agreement, Factory Manager shall enjoy all the privileges, in regard to leave, pension, acting and travelling allowances, as are enjoyed by other officers in the Provincial Service.Section VIRules, & C, Applicable to Officers Generally(A)All Officers
