Section 51(1) in West Bengal Societies Registration Rules, 1963
(1)The managing committee consisting of the elected directors and those, if any, appointed by the Registrar shall as soon after the general meeting as possible elect a chairman and vice-chairman and other office-bearers if any from amongst themselves.
