1. The instant writ petitions seek enforcement of a final order passed on 15 February 2020 by the Joint Commissioner. Although an appeal is stated to have been preferred against those orders, undisputedly, no interim order operates. Learned counsel who has entered appearance on behalf of the respondents is presently and in the absence of instructions, unable to apprise the Court of the status of the appeal or the date fixed therein.
2. Let appropriate instructions be completed on or before the next date fixed. It is further clarified that in case the Court is not apprised of the status of the appeal, it shall consider taking up the writ petitions itself for final disposal on that date.
3. List again on 31.07.2023.
