Section 1 in Karnataka Land Grabbing Prohibition Act, 2011
1. Short title, application and commencement
(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka Land Grabbing Prohibition Act, 2011.(2)It applies to land belonging to the Government, Wakf or the Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments, local authority or any statutory or non-statutory body owned, controlled or managed by the Government in the State of Karnataka.(3)It shall come into force at once.
