Section 10(5) in Securities and Exchange Board of India (Employees' Service) Regulations, 2001
(5)Without prejudice to the provisions of Regulation 17, an employee selected from the Board's employees and on probation shall be liable to be reverted to his previous grade without notice or pay in lieu thereof if, in the opinion of the competent authority, he fails to show satisfactory performance during the period of his probation.
