(3)Nothing in this section shall prevent a licensing authority having the jurisdiction referred to in sub-section (1) of section 7 from adding to the classes of vehicle which the [driving licence] [Substituted by Act 100 of 1956, section 4, for 'licence' (w.e.f. 16-2-1957).] authorises the holder to drive.
